The Ludex Story
Founder Brian Ludden has always been an athlete and a collector, with a deep-rooted love for sports. Starting young, Brian’s passion for basketball and baseball extended through college, keeping him closely connected to the trends in the sports market. His entrepreneurial spirit and curiosity have fueled his journey, both as an athlete and a collector.
The Frustration Behind the Inspiration
Brian wanted to share his love of card collecting with his son, but the process quickly became frustrating. While trying to determine the value of his son’s Derek Jeter 1993 Upper Deck rookie card, they found the process to be tedious and outdated. The hobby that once brought joy began to feel like a chore. Realizing there must be a better way to identify and value cards, Brian set out to modernize the experience for collectors like him.
